Education - Planting Seeds for the Future

Education is at the core of the Garden Club of Toronto’s mission. Through the leadership of the Projects and Community Engagement Committee, we support the next generation of environmental stewards, designers, and educators who will shape the green spaces of tomorrow.

Our scholarship program provides meaningful financial support to students pursuing studies in horticulture, landscape architecture, and environmental design. These scholarships not only help ease financial burdens—they also recognize and encourage the passion, creativity, and dedication of future leaders in green design and sustainability.

In addition, we extend financial aid to the TBG Summer Nature Camp students attending nature-focused camps and to the educators who inspire them. By supporting early, hands-on learning experiences, we help children and teens—especially those from underserved communities—build lasting connections to nature, gardening, and environmental care.

Through every scholarship awarded and every camper supported, we’re investing in a greener, more thoughtful future—rooted in education, nurtured by curiosity, and blooming with possibility.
